Day 1 - Amazing rhythmicity in Upper Cretaceous sediments close to Bilbao

Day 1 - Jenny examining Zoophycos Trace fossils: the usual problem of overdressing!

Day 1 - Sopalena, close to Bilbao. Andy with his finger pointing at the K-T boundary. Ammonites died out by his right foot.

Day 2 - Cueva. This Upper Cretaceous scarp can be followed right up the valley.

Day 2 - At Puenteday the river flows through the magnificent "scarp" limestone

Day 3 - Barrika. Upper Cretaceous turbidites slightly off the beaten track
